Lifeline assistance program is a federal program designed to provide phone and internet services at discounted prices for low income households.
Lifeline provides eligible low income households with a monthly discount of up to $9.25. Consumers living on tribal land can get a enchanced discount of up to $34.25 per month.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for Lifeline assistance, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Your household income should be at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
- If you are participant of any of the below federal assistance programs:
- Medicaid
- Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Federal Public Housing Assistance or Section 8
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Special Supplemental Nutritional Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
